(Currently less than our 90% silver!) The 1982 George Washington silver dollars were introduced in order to commemorate George Washington’s 250th birth date. The BU coins are were struck in Denver while the Proofs were struck in San Francisco. Each is minted of 90% Silver and contains .3617 oz of net pure silver. Every coin will come in its original box with Certificate of Authenticity.
