90% SILVER MERCURY DIMES $5 FACE (ROLL OF 50) CIRCULATED Mixed Dates 1916-1945 Designed by Adolph Weinman, The Mercury dime is also referred to as the Winged Liberty Head dime. The coin's obverse depicts a young Liberty with winged Phrygian cap reminiscent of the Roman god Mercury. The coin's reverse shows a bundle of rods, with battle-ax, known as "Fasces" symbolizing unity and strength, and a full-foliage olive branch signifying peace.
