Description

2018 (W) 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin NGC MS 70 Early Releases (West Point)   This astounding 2018 (W) 1 oz Silver American Eagle $1 Coin NGC MS 70 Early Releases is one of the latest Silver Eagles authenticated by the prominent NGC as flawless and identified as produced at the West Point Mint. Struck for the first time in 1986, the American Silver Eagle program from the United States Mint is extremely popular all around the world for its famous unchanged design – the Walking Liberty – originally seen on the half dollars minted from 1916 to 1947. Carrying one of the most beautiful designs on the market, this superb piece incorporates the finest American traditions of freedom, patriotism, and equality. Authenticated within the first month of issue, this remarkable piece is certified as having no wear or tear marks visible under 5x magnification, being displayed in a stunning West Point holder from NGC. For this reason, this splendid coin is a sought-after addition and a treasured keepsake for any passionate numismatist. Coin grading companies can now identify the location of the facility where Silver American Eagles were minted. Although these bullion coins do not carry any mintmarks, the mint boxes display individual serial numbers that help identify their origin: West Point boxes have a six-digit serial number starting with 1,2,3, or a five-digital serial number which begins with the WP prefix. Boxes coming from the Philadelphia facility have a five-digit serial number starting with the number 1 while those struck at the San Francisco facility carry a six-digit serial number which starts with the number 4. Therefore, NGC and PCGS attribute the “W”, “P”, or “S” designations to the original labels of the coins, and Bullion Exchanges is thrilled to offer the entire collection of certified Silver American Eagles with the mint locations revealed.
