Description

2018-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle PCGS PF 69 DCAM First Strike   This astonishing 2018-W 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle PCGS PF 69 DCAM First Strike is the newest issue in the legendary Proof Silver American Eagle series which is authenticated by PCGS within the first mintage month as bearing a fantastic sharp striking. In November 1986, the world-famous US Mint issued the iconic American Silver Eagles in both proof and bullion editions, carrying the same superb design: the graceful Walking Liberty and the magnificent heraldic eagle. Proof coins are minted by using special dies and blanks for multiple times to give the coin a unique, sharp, brilliant finish that’s highly praised by numismatists all over the globe. The proof coin bears the mintmark, unlike the bullion version, therefore the 1986-1992 releases carry the “S” (San Francisco) mintmark, the 1993-2000 issues the “P” (Philadelphia) mintmark, and the 2001-present editions bear the “W” (West Point) mintmark. Only in 2009, the mint didn’t produce any Proof Silver Eagles. This astounding piece was graded by PCGS within the first mintage month as displaying less than two almost unnoticeable wear marks and having a brilliant luster. Being a cherished collectible by many numismatists, this exceptional coin is an excellent gift and a spectacular addition to any portfolio or collection. Coin Features: Made from .999 pure silver with a weight of 1 oz. Minted by the leading US Mint at the West Point. Struck in brilliant proof condition. Comes with a face value of $1 USD. PCGS PF 69 DCAM First Strike: A proof coin with a fine sharp contrast and original luster, having no more than two barely visible scratches. Authenticated by PCGS within the first mintage month.
