1mm thickness, designed for M42 extension rings and helicoid rings (sold separately). Also used for modification of camera mounts. For using Canon EOS R RF mount mirrorless digital cameras with M42 (42mm x 1.0) screw mount helicoid rings. Switching on "Release shutter without lens" in custom menu C.Fn5, then switching shooting mode to M (manual) is recommended. Not suitable for Canon EOS film / digital SLR cameras and Canon EOS M (EF-M) mount mirrorless cameras.
