For using Micro Four Thirds (m4/3) mount mirrorless digital cameras with Nikon S mount outer bayonet rangefinder lenses. The mount is based on Nikon S rangefinder system, may have differences in mounting and focusing in Contax-based Rangefinder lenses. Switching on "Shoot without lens" may be needed on several Panasonic M4/3 cameras. Switching shooting mode to M (manual) is recommended. Allows focus infinity. Not suitable for Olympus Evolt series Four Thirds mount DSLR cameras.
