Switching on "Release shutter without lens" in custom menu C.Fn7, then switching shooting mode to M (manual) is recommended. Allows focus infinity. Not suitable for Canon EOS film / digital SLR cameras and Canon EOS R (RF) mount mirrorless cameras.
