It is a solution of using Canon EF lenses to adjust aperture in other cameras with external aperture ring, cannot be used on EF-S series lenses. Other electronic functions such as electronic focusing are disabled. Switching on "Release shutter without lens" in custom menu C.Fn7, then switching shooting mode to M (manual) is recommended. Allows focus infinity. Not suitable for Canon EOS film / digital SLR cameras and Canon EOS R (RF) mount mirrorless cameras.
